The Prince, the Bandit, and the Mage are three medieval-fantasy archetypes — three different answers to the same questions about love, heartbreak, and finding yourself afterward. The trend took off in mid-2026, when a viral animated music video gave each of the three characters a verse of the same song, and artists everywhere started drawing themselves (and their OCs) as their result.
